Coaching Services
I offer motivational life skills training to foster and enhance leadership development, management abilities, as well as personal and political empowerment. I specialize in reaching college students, educators, young people ages 16-35, all political activists and leadership developers. With the demands of today’s ever changing and increasingly globalized world that we live it is even more important, now more than ever to equip ourselves with the knowledge and skills that is required to remain competitive and be successful. Weather 1-on-1 or in the company of a large audience I will certainly bring you the motivational, inspirational and certainly educational content that will serve you and your organization for the rest of your life. As a student of life I am always learning and seeking out that which I do not know or do not understand. It is because of such rigorous academic study that I am able to speak on any subject. Workshops
Save The World: One person at a time, starting with yourself
This workshop is intended to expose a clear portrait of ourselves as we are in actuality not what socially we have been prescribed to be. Workshop attendees will analyze their position in the current social order and engage in discussion of the global status and our own individual selves. My message of gaining a mature focus on the essential issues at hand will inspire everyone to increase their efforts to do what they individually are capable of doing to alleviate global stressors. I will foster an understanding of the need for people to contribute in some kind of way that would create a larger solidified effort that would eventually lead to real genuine progress that would in effect saves lives, create and sustain peace as well as lead to the greater fulfillment of all the worlds peoples.
Young, Black & Political: Tearing Down Stereotypes While Building A Better Future
Here we will examine Black political activism & its role in the struggle for Blacks from the creation of America throughout the civil rights movement & into this new millennium. Once young Black students realize that politics & education controls the quality of their lives they will take the initiative to become politically active & organize for change now. The outcome will be a galvanized Black community ready to mobilize, strategize & exercise their constitutional rights.
Grown Folks: Being a real man and a real woman in the midst of boys and girls.
This workshop is for all people that consider themselves an adult. Subjects covered will be behaving like an adult should, living up to your adult responsibility while maintaining control, as well as instruction for setting good examples and raising the bar for young people while respecting ourselves, our community and our world Young people attending this session will leave understanding the difficulties that they face and how to succeed in spite of them. In as society filled with overwhelming negative stereotyping and the continuing rise of material worshiping that has gripped the minds and finances of too many young adults, here the audience will partner together to break free of social constraints and moving forward aggressively toward a better future for themselves and their families while leading the world by example into a more positive state of enlightenment.
A Call To Action: Infinite reasons to Mobilize, Organize & Self-Actualize
There are many different things that serve as motivation for each of us to take action. Taking action is simply refusing to remain complacent to the negative circumstances of various events that surround and effect our lives. In this workshop attendees will learn to see the hidden injustices that are often unseen. I will lead the audience through a history of revolutionary struggles around the globe and the results of sustained dedicated struggle. Young people will from then on refuse to remain on the sidelines of a struggle that can’t be won without their own effort, input and actions. The time for change is now.
Business Is Pleasure: The very careful art of turning mundane business operations into a joyful experience
I’m calling upon all entrepreneurs, business professionals and all others that are in the business of running a business or advancing social progress through other means. Many of the tasks that we all set out in life to accomplish can only be accomplished by means of working with others and forming coalitions that fosters the strengths of each individual partner to create a more lucrative, creative, progressive and beneficial relationships as well as enhance the overall work environment for everyone at any particular organization or business. Getting employees to sense their own value regardless of their job title and duties can be difficult and is often the heart of internal office instability. In this workshop we will cover a broad range of topics that are relevant to the workplace including crafting the perfect office climate, dealing with dishonest employees, finding the right talent, seeing the big business picture as well as building and maintaining effective positive partnerships.
Dress For Success: Looking, feeling & being a better professional
This workshop will teach high school students as well as entry level young professionals the dos and don’ts of resume writing, interviewing and appropriate business attire. Attendees will gain the needed information to make a successful transition from high school to life in the adult workforce.
Black History: What is it? Why talk about it?
This is a total examination of what is and the importance of Black History. From the beginning of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade there has been a concentrated effort to change and/or erase the true history of the world and of Black people. Here, through inter-generational dialogue we will revisit and discover together true Black History as it was and actually is not as it was written in yesterday’s history books. From the Africans who first invented the calendar year to Malcolm X to today's Pan-African Movement here we will learn what is BLACK POWER!!!!!! You will learn of the great mystification process and how it sustains the injustice within our system. You will also gain the tools needed to challenge the injustice and overcome it while mobilizing a massive grass roots community never thought to exist.
Senioritis: A high school graduates guide to beating the odds and succeeding no matter what.
This workshop focuses on teaching attendees the critical thinking and problem solving skills needed to overcome obstacles as well as to shape their own destiny. The session will center on positive thinking as a source of self-motivation for each individual while learning to foster our creative thinking skills to be better able to brainstorm goals and to identify methods of achieving them. Additional focuses of the workshop will be geared toward planning life after high schools, college preparedness, potential career identification and understanding the need for self assessment.
The Purpose of Our Purpose: Understanding our position during the broad mission of life This workshop is about self assessment.
Attendees are asked to determine who they believe they are to themselves, to their community, and to the world. Dialogue will be the learning tool during the discussion of the role of race in our lives and its effects on our potential. This is the breakdown of stereotypes and the evaluation of what we have dedicated our lives to. Those who attend will leave with a full understanding of their position in the world and their own connection to the broader social movement that is at hand.
Budgeting for the real world: A high school students guide for choosing the right path to ensure success
This presentation is sure to be an eye opening experience for young people as they receive a crash course on life. Here we examine the daily life and responsibilities of adults and the critical decisions that must be made in order to maintain a stable life. Students attending this workshop will gain first hand knowledge of the hidden hardships that are awaiting them in the post high school world. Students will receive instruction on how to avoid the numerous pitfalls that exist along life's rocky road such as creating and managing their credit, choosing the right college or educational program, as well as how to set and reach realistic goals for the advancement of their lives.
Long Live The Revolution: The power of politics and teamwork in the battle for change
Once a person is determined that they will be a force for change it is very easy to be highly motivated yet lack a clear direction. This workshop is designed to give rookie and experienced activists the tools needed to make their presence known in the world and be an effective advocate for justice. We will examine current and historical revolutions and the tactics used to win many armed and unarmed struggles. Attending activists will gain a deeper understanding of the absolute urgency for their political involvement and the limitless potential of effective teamwork and persistence. From Nat Turners slave revolt in 1831 to the organized French resistance who fought off the Nazis in 1942 to the civil rights movement and today's battle for positive social change. Many people have been asked to “watch someone's back”. Many have heard the question be asked, Am I my brothers keeper and regardless of ones answer few actually understand the question. It is here where you will learn to not simply understand the question but to live its answer fully.
